Big Problems, Simple Solutions

Last weekend, I went to a nearby slum in Sec-53 with my friends Pranay and Inderpreet, both working in MediaTek. We told the people about the free education facilities provided by Govt and encouraged them for education. Somehow, we were able to convince them to some extent and they asked us for time to think about it.

Yesterday, I arranged some time during my office timing and went there( in slum area) again with my friend’s mother . We convinced them again and finally, we were able to admit 12 children to the Govt School in Gijhor.

This weekend we will be providing them uniform, bags, notebooks, etc as this would certainly give some encouragement to them. Till now we were arranging the finances ourselves (grp of 4-5 friends) but going forward we would be requiring help from all you people.

Now what’s the main problem :
1.Poor people are not aware of govt. education facilities and even they don’t know the importance of education.

2.They think that govt. schools don’t provide good education and no care is being given to their children.

Solution: What I need from you people :

1.Try to locate some govt. school in your nearby locality and give at least 1-2 hours there( whenever you get time) so that the children there will feel motivated that some educated professionals are there to teach them, help them and this will help in changing the image of Govt schools.

2.If you cannot go there at least share the name of any such school, it might be useful for some other person.

Initially we are covering sector 53, you can start the same in your location. Definitely, we will spread the wave everywhere.

The Govt School in Gijhor has very less teaching staff. It would be great if we go there and teach them on weekends.

Address of school- Government School, Gijhor, Sector-53, Noida

Please come up with your ideas and acts.

Your small act can make a big difference in somebody' s life.
